Zelda Fitzgerald, Zelda from Alabama. A name that bangs, syllables that swing. Too often eclipsed by her illustrious husband, prevented from writing, censored, Zelda the novelist, the sentences, she knows how to turn them. His tragic destiny inspired Gilles Leroy and today Guillaume Barbot who adapts it for the stage, in a breathless biopic.

Alabama Song takes us in the wake of the sacrificed woman, the writer plundered by her “creator”. A confession in the form of an uppercut from the woman artist, too quickly locked up, too soon gone. Zelda, magnificent and tragic heroine. True salamander here found.

Nina Simone, roman a été adapté pour le théâtre par la comédienne Jina Djemba et la metteuse en scène Anne Bouvier.

Créé en avril 2018 au Lucernaire, le spectacle Miss Nina Simone a été prolongé au théâtre de L'Oeuvre jusqu'en décembre 2018 puis donné à Avignon Off et repris à la Scène Parisienne en 2019.

Interrompu par la crise sanitaire en 2020, il reprend à l'automne 2021 en tournée.

Avec : Jina Djemba dans le rôle de Nina Simone, Valentin de Carbonnières et Paul Nguyen, en alternance, dans le rôle de Ricardo.
